PRESS CENTERS TO BE SET UP IN ŞANLIURFA / AKÇAKALE AND CEYLANPINAR DUE TO THE OPERATION PEACE SPRING IN NORTH OF SYRIA

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The attention of national and international media to the Southeastern region of Turkey has increased due to the Operation Peace Spring initiated by the Turkish Armed Forces in North of Syria. In this respect, press accrediation centers in Şanlıurfa/Akçakale and Ceylanpınar has been established in order to ease the professional works of the national and international media members.

2. ACCREDITATION

Members of the press who wish to cover the developments in the region should be accreditated for carrying out journalistic activities in the secured areas to be determined by the related authorities.

1. Members of the national pressshould apply by legibly filling in the enclosedaccreditation form, bringing a copy of their press card (Media members without this press card should apply with a letter of authorization from theirmedia organization and a copy of their official ID cards.) and the photo as jpeg format.

2. Resident members of the foreign press in Turkeyshould apply by legibly filling in the enclosedaccreditation form, bringing a copy of their press card and the photo as jpeg format.

Members of the foreign press coming from abroadshould apply by legibly filling in the enclosed accreditation form, bringing a copy of their local press card together with a letter of authorization from theirmedia organization, a copy of their passport and the photo as jpeg format.

Press members need to collect their accreditation cardsin personby submitting an ID document at the Accreditation Centers in Akçakale and Ceylanpınar.
